The Institute of Transportation is a key think tank for the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC). It assists the ministry in formulating policy, and provides indicator information during the policy formulation, transport-policy decision coordination, and plan execution phases. It plays a role supporting transportation administration technology and R&D innovation at all levels as well as the integration of government policy applications, and serves as a bridge building communication between the transportation industry, government, academia, and research bodies. The purpose of this annual report is to consolidate the rich research result for the year so that relevant organizations can engage in more effective applications.
